Have fixed the problem with FF.net. To celebrate, a new Boba Fett story : http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3788813/1/Ghost. Slash, and a bit of incest, but very Jungian in nature. Reader discretion is advised.

Resolutions, Revolutions and Revelations

Uh, so I’ve been really, really, really busy.

...

Okay, that’s totally a lie. I have, in fact, been no busier that what I imagine everyone else who actually updates his or her journal(s) is. Probably less, sadly. I haven’t actually been out of fandom, though! I’ve done a great deal of reading and significantly less writing (enough to post at some point, for those of you interested). I have plans to get back into active fandom, although I have to reactivate some accounts to do so.

Also: FanFiction.net isn’t letting me upload/change stories at the moment, frustratingly, and so the new things that I have actually done aren’t available. (I’m working on the problem at the moment, and will have new things up as soon as I fix whatever it is that’s causing the trouble.) So: for those of you who happen to be glancing over this, my apologies for disappearing, and rest assured that things of interest will soon come!

*Looks in askance at the LJ*

Well. Heh. So much for turning over a new leaf and posing regularly. In my defense, I’ve been insanely busy. But I really, really promise to use this thing –especially to communicate with those wondering about my fics.

For those of you who have been wondering why I dropped out of fandom for the past 3ish years: I had a liver failure. I won’t go into any more detail here –I don’t much like to talk about it—but let’s just say transplants have a rather long recovery time. But I am healthy(ish) again, thankfully, and plan on writing a lot more in the future.

On that note: My God! The fandoms have changed wildly since I was involved in them. I suppose it’s to be expected, really, but after putting my life on hold for a while, I’m always surprised at how fast things move.

At any rate, the fics have been updated, and a few new ones, posted. Something Worth Waiting For (which is finally done!), Date Match (which has been revamped), Nothing (which is a new fic –an angsty take on Alex’s past), and Need (which is the sequel to Nothing).

For those of you interested, I should also have an Action Man drabble page up eventually. (As I’ve written a mad amount of them.) Also; SSWF’s sequel should have its first chapter posted within the next month, and the Action Man AU fantasy fic also seems to be smelling of progress.

Whew!

EEEEEE!

OOOooooh. Shiny new journal. *pets the journal*

I proclaim thee "Las", and hope much goodfic will spring forth. Anyway. I herby de-verginize the new journal with drabblefic.American Gods drabblefic. Shadow/Loki, American Gods drabblefic.

Smoke

Shadow watched the smoke waft out from between Low Key’s lips. The white billows cascading off the full lower lip, channeling down the uneven scars. It snaked out from the sly, pinched left corner, dancing along the upwards curl that lingered there indefinitely.

It was odd, really. Shadow had never found so much pleasure in watching someone as he did Low Key. The graceful hands, ever moving, ever distracting from the real point. The flashing eyes, constantly dancing and dreaming and sparkling for no reason. And, of course, the lips.

Sly and sensuous. Pale, pale pink and rose. So very flawed and still so beautiful.

Shadow had never kissed a man before Low Key. It was fascinating, really, what you learned in prison. He still loved Laura, yes. But the feel of Low Key’s mouth on his own ---the scratchy stubble and the rough grinding and the sawdust and honey taste of his tongue--- was something he had never felt before.

His kisses were like smoke. They wove and wandered in unexpected ways, the graceful swoops and swipes curling in surprising places. It was illusionary; magical. Tempting him with hazy glances of truth, only to snatch them away again, denying the secrets it kept.

Shadow wondered if he would ever know those secrets.
